MISSION

To address the educational needs of students through virtual academic support.

Key Points: 

The Virtual Village Tutoring Program addresses the educational needs of 3rd-12th grade students through virtual content tutoring, academic mentoring, and college & career readiness.  Online academic support resources that provide homework assistance and promote study skills are also provided.  

 

Volunteers/Tutors conduct tutorial sessions 5 days a week at times agreed upon by the tutors, parents/guardians and students.  Each tutor conducts one or two 45-50 minute sessions per week.

Virtual Village Tutorial Program sessions are conducted during the school calendar year at no cost to students, and parents. 

 

The Virtual Village Tutoring Program provides virtual video communications with easy to use, reliable video, audio conferencing, and chats. Some examples of virtual tools are, Zoom, and Google Suites.

 

The Virtual Village Tutoring Program help students accelerate learning progress, complete assignments, improve study skills and prepare for college and careers.
